About Us

Sagarmatha Pratisthan Nepal (Everest Foundation Nepal) was established in the year 2057 under Kathmandu District Administration Office Registration No. 195. This is a non-profitable organization and has been actively committed to promote different social cultural and educational activities. In remote districts of western Nepal there are practices of continuing accusation of witch craft, social evils, chhaupadi, untouchability and many other evils.

These evils are in practice due to lack of education. This organization has been actively working to make them aware of these evils and remove all such practices for the benefit of themselves. In districts of Karnali Provence like Humla, Jumla, Mugu, Dolpa, Kalikot, Bajura and Bajhang, we are running public awareness program of various kind. Since 2062 we started schooling of 14 children in the beginning from Nursery to class 7. Now we have 31 children studying from class 1 to bachelor level.

These poor, helpless children are taken care of providing food, shelter, health, education by the organization “Helpless Children Home” run by Sagarmatha Pratisthan  Nepal in Kathmandu.

This organization has admitted these children in English Boarding School in Kathmandu considering to make them good citizen of Nepal in future. This organization is established to solve burning issues in cooperation with national and international organization through participatory approach.
